Breeding

I implanted my first embryo’s  in December 2013 resulting in 6 live animals, the first being born on the farm in August 2014.

First Born: Crompton Holly – 28.08.2014

I was fortunate to get 5 heifer calves and 1 bull calf. All my Lowlines have been DNA tested to verify parentage and are registered with the Australian Lowline Cattle Association (ALCA). A further heifer and bull calf were born in September 2015

I have recently imported semen from Australia from a very well known bull, Monte Allegro Artusi,  (Supreme Champion at the Sydney Royal Show 2006) from the URILA Stud. I am currently in the process of flushing my eldest heifers and serving them with ARTUSI, all of which is very exciting.

We flushed 4 animals on 6th December 2016, resulting in 17 viable embryo’s of which we implanted 9 of these in recipients, freezing the remaining 8.
